The position regarding the post omce exchange at Tliames_ and the provision of direct toll facilities with Auckland was again raised. The PostmasterGeneral, the ■Hon. F. Jones, is to be written to : emphasising the need for the provision of the new exchange, also direct toll communication between Thames and Auckland.
