POLISH YOUTH'S TRIAL P >: • "M INTENTION TO KILL" PARIS, Dec. 20 The'l7-year-old Polish Jew Herschel Granszpan, who shot Dr. von Rath, Secretary to the German Embassy, again appeared before the examining magistrate to-day. He said that .after firing, although not intending to kill Dr. von Rath, he threw the revolver on the floor. Two German attendants who seized accused, said he called them "dirty Boches," but Granszpan denied the allegation. The policeman who arrested hkn said he would have heard that exclamation if it -had been uttered, but he did not.
