DANCE AT TE ATATU
TENNIS FUNDS AIDED MANY PEOPLE ATTEND A successful "back to childhood" dance was held in the Te Atatu Hall 011 Saturday in aid of the tennis club funds. There was a large attendance and many of the dancers were in fancy dress. Hostesses were: —Mrs. Watts, jun., Mrs. Robv, Mrs. Scott, Mrs. Booth. Mrs. Sullivan, Mrs. Thomas and Miss Moore. . Mr. W. Meredith, assisted by "Gran," had a difficult task in judging the best costumes, as many novel and amusing fancy dresses were worn. The prizes were awarded as- follows:-r The best set: Misses J. and E. Savage, Miss E. Owens, Miss J. Booth and M iss M. Jones, who represented the Dionne quintuplets; prettiest ladys dress, Miss A. Hazard, Miss M. F* Booth and Miss E. Farmiloe; mosteffective man's costume, Mr. I*°J Schiller and Mr. A. Hodgens: most comical dress, Mr. W. Hazard and Mr. L.
