intoxicated in car [I)Y TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION*] WANGANUI, Tuesday A jockey and brewery traveller,- Norman Cecil Trillo, was to-day fined £2O and his driving licence was cancelled for 12 months for being intoxicated while in charge of a motor-par. CANCELLATION OF LICENCE PROHIBITION ORDER ISSUED [I)Y TELEGRAPH—OWN CORRESPONDENT] OPOTIkI, Tuesday A fine of £2O was imposed on Walter Pomgitakatu, of Waioeka, when he appeared before justices to-day on a charge of being intoxicated while in charge of a motor-car. The accused pleaded guilty. Medical evidence was given that the accused, when examined, was not in a fit state to drive. - Accused's licence was cancelled for one year and a prohibition order was issued against him.
