1 ENJOYABLE FUNCTION EVELYN FIRTH HOME VICTORIA LEAGUE MEMBERS A Christinas party organised by the bridge circle of the Victoria League was held at the Evelyn Firth Homo yesterday. Bridge was played and at the end of the afternoon prizes were presented. Winners among the visitors were: Mrs. I*. Bi •nee, Mrs. K. Humphries, Mrs. M. Price and Miss Margery Drvden. * Members of the Home who received prizes wore: —Mr. J. Skillan, for the highest score for the whole year; Mr. Robertson, Mr. 0. Walter and Mr. L. Spent, for the afternoon's p'av. Each member of the Home received a Christmas favour and cigarettes from the bridge circle. During the afternoon a presentation was made by the men to the bridge circle convener, Mrs. G. Erne Adams. To Mrs. L. S. Richerby was given a bouquet from the circle, and gifts and bouquets were presented to the matron, Miss K. Urayshaw, and Sister Melntyre. Among those present were: —Mrs. 1,. S. Rickerby, Mrs. G.
