ARRESTS IN CHINA
TWO ITALIAN PRIESTS Independent Cable Service SHANGHAI, Dec. 14 Two unnamed Italian priests were arrested at Laohoku, west of Hupeh, charged with spying on behalf of the Japanese, says the official Central News Agency. The arrests followed a raid on an Italian church on November 28, when a radio transmitter and arms were found. Later the p.eoplo of Laohoku demonstrated, demanding tho deportation of tho priests.
