Vanora was handy at the post in 3.29 and is improving with solid work. Forest Jewel (L. Mitchell), unhoppled, went to the mile in 2.30, but on passing the mile and a-quarter in 3.5 she left her feet, taking 37s lor the last two furlongs. She has built up and should be all the better for more fast work. Stargum and Noble Prince Kewpie's Queen (W. Gee) left the mile and a-lialf two seconds ahead of Kewpie's Crest (J. Gee) and won in 3.39 3-5. She finished solidly and is improving in staying power. . Kewpie's Crest rail 3.38, the first mile in 2.30. Gold Kip (C. M. Morrison), assisted by Shining Link (L. J. Head), both unhoppled, were associated over a mile and a-quarter, Stargum winning in 2.54.. Willetts) worked a mile and three-quarters in 4.5, the first mile and a-quarter in 2.55 and the last half-mile in 1.10. Lucky Love should soon be at his best. Averili) led Cyrano (S. M. August) from the mile and a-half, but tho latter broke badly.
