DAMAGE INVESTIGATED CUT IN PLATES DISCOVERED [BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION] WELLINGTON, Thursday The Government motor-ship Maui Pomare arrived at Wellington this morning from Lyttelton and went on to the patent slip. Before leaving Apia on her last trip to the Islands she developed a slight leak and the reason for going .on the slip to-day was to have the damage inspected and repaired.
