NEW BUILDING OPENEM BRITISH MEDICAL ASSOCIATION [by telegraph—own correspondent} WELLINGTON. Tuesday ' To meet the need of more adequate, accommodation, a new building has been erected on Wellington Terrace the New Zealand branch of the British Medical Association. Over 100 members of the branch and a number of visitors were present this afternoon for the official opening of the new quarters by the Minister of Health, the Hon. .Rfc Fraser. Dr. J. P. S. Jamieson, of Kelt son, presided. The new building, which is of three storeys in reinforced concrete, is o» striking appearance. The ground floor is for letting to private tenants. On the first floor provision is made for the British Medical Association office accommodation and for the library, with a committee room at one end of it. The Wellington Acclimatisation Society, an old. tenant of the association, also has its quarters on this floor. The third floor is occupied mainly by a large meeting room, with' seating for approximately 100.
