TRADE AGREEMENT
BRITAIN AND AMERICA VALUE EMPHASISED British "Wireless RUGBY, Nov. 20 The United States Ambassador to Britain,' Mr. J.. P. Kennedy, at a luncheon given by the American Chamber of Commerce to celebrate the signing of the United States-British trade agreement, said that in it they could realise the rebirth of commonsense in international economy and the first step toward economic disarmament. The President of the Board of Trade, Mr. Oliver Stanley, said tho agreement was not h political movo or a political bargain; nevertheless, ho would stress its political value. Tho agreement, so far from destroying tho Ottawa agreements, had left them unaffected. It was a step toward tho attainment of the goal of peace.
