MISSION CENTENARY
EARLY TAURANGA HISTORY [BY TELKGKAI'H —OWN CORRESPONDENT] TAURANGA, Tuesday A. service in commemoration of the centenary of the-permanent establishment of a mission in Taiiranga by the Venerable Archdeacon Brown was held nt the Kims vesterday. The Rev. O. S. Gibson, vicar of Holy Trinity Church, conducted the service. He was assisted by the Rev. K. T. Hnrawirn, vicar of Ohinemutu, the Very Hew T." H. Roseveare, of Touranga, the Rev. TI. Pokeha, of Mnketu, and the Rev. M. H. Tumatahi, of Whakarewarewa.
The large attondanco included many Maoris.
