Borough Council was attended by Mr* Beasley, Auckland district engineer oi: the New Zealand Railways, as well as residents of Waitete and representatives of local stock firms, lengthy discussion on the proposal to move the trucking yards from the present sitei to the Railway reserve at Waitete, it was decided to endeavour to exchange a section of Borough Council: property at Waitete Road for a patch of native land further away from the residential quarter. Mr. Beasley was asked t© submit this proposal to tho chiefs of his department for consideration. ,
