The principal handicap, tho St. Andrew's, was won by Brazen King, and in tho sprint there w t \s a deadheat between Surmount and Glessamor. In the open seven-furlong event Old Surrey was successful. G. It. Tattersall, rider- of Sporting Gift in tho seventh race, the Nikau Hack, waa reported to the stewards by tho starter and was' suspended for a fortnight under rule 281,' clause 2, relating to unfair tactics at tho barrier.
