Mr. Henry Brooke (Conservative) 22,587 Mr. A. M. SkelEngton (Labour) 16,939
, Tho result of tho last election was as follows: —Sir Philip Dawson (Conservative), 27,173; Mr. It. M. M. Stewart (Labour), 14,80.3.
