KINGSEAT HOSPITAL
NEW HOME FOR NURSES LARGE BUILDING PLANNED Tenders are being called by the Public Works Department for the con-» struction of a new nurses' home at the Kingseat Mental Hospital. The department, which designed the building, has directed particular attention toward appointments and other provisions that will make for comfort. The building, of two storeys, will be of concrete construction with brick facing. It will comprise a long central block, with two wings, which will mostly contain bedrooms, while at the back will be the service block. On the ground floor of the central block lounges for the nurses will open on to a paved terrace. Immediately above these will be a large sunroom. There will bo bedrooms for about 100 nurses. Included in the appointments is a sick bay and a large convalescent room.
