Of tho 'lO competitors, only two readied homo on tho day of liberation, tho third and fourth birds arriving next. morning. The winning bird flew the distanco 111 the quick timo of llh 10m, an avoruge speed of -11'/, miles an hour, thus establishing a club record. Tho race was for tho patron s cup, presented by Mr. W. J.
