BROTHER ASSAULTED
CONVICTION OF LABOURER Charged with assaulting his brother at Kllerslio 011 November 18 and also with wilfully damaging a telephone to the value of 12s by cutting the wire, George Thomson, aged 51, labourer, appeared before Mr. 0. R. Orr Walker, S.M., in the Police Court yesterday. Accused, who pleaded guilty, was convicted on the lirst charge and ordered to come up for sentence if called upon within 12 months, and was also directed to take out a prohibition order. On the second charge he was fined £2 and ordered to pay the amount of the damage, 12a.
