LOWER WEST COAST RATE [BY TET.EGRAI^I —OWN CORRESPONDENT] GREYMOUTH, Monday According to figures compiled by the Department of Agriculture the lambing percentage for the whole of,the West Const this season was 91 per cent, or 6 per cent lower thrfn last season. The percentages in each county, with comparisons with the previous season given in parentheses, were: —AVestland, 102 percent (102); Gfey, 97 (107); lnnngnhua, 101 (93); Buller, 84 (94); Murchison, 75 (78). The figures were taken from 37,789 ewes which iB about 25 per cent of the total of breeding ewe;s in the district.
