Smith, who is acting • for the owner )f the grey champion,, states that the nvner of the champion is agreeable, n the light of messages which have been exchanged, to .send his horse to Siew Zealand. This means, apparently, that the ywrier of Greyhound will pay all ,exaenses, and that he will receive 10,000 iollars for each of five match races. The first of the series of matches yould probably bo run over varying Jistances at Addirigton on April 8, 12 ind 13, and it is probable that Lawn Derby will be asked to compete, and Lucky Jack, Parisienne, Logan'Derby, Plutus and Pot Luck might also be invited to join issue.
