ROTARY'S GUESTS

JUNIOR MEMBERS OF STAFFS MANY ATTEND LUNCHEON Sixty junior members of the staffs of club members of all classifications were special guests of tho Auckland Rotary Club at its weekly luncheon at Milne and Choyce's Reception Hall yesterday. It was the first occasion in the history of Rotary in New Zealand that such a gathering had been held. Members and other guests exceeded 100. Tho president, Mr. W. E. Lewi sham, in extending a special welcome to the club's junior guests, said they were the Botarians of to-morrow. The president spoke of Rotary's ideals and added that there were 25 clubs in New Zealand. Tho guests joined in tho community singing with members. The speaker at tho luncheon was the Rev. A. C. Nelson, his subject being, "Boys Will be Men." Visiting Rotary club members were Mr. W. S. McLean, of Palmerston North, and Mr. A. T. McEldowney, of Christchurch. Two teams of members havo been selected by tho club's sports committee to play a cricket match at the Auckland Training College grounds on December 8, beginning at 11.80 in tho morning. A concert will bo given at the Evelyn Firth Homo by club members to-morrow week.
