I PRIZES AT KEMUERA PRESENTATION ON SATURDAY CANADIAN MEDAL FOURSOMES Prizes won during the "season by members of the Romuera Golf Club wore presented on Saturday afternoon by the president, Dr. E. H. B, Milsom. The Canadian medal foursomes competition eon tested during the after- j noon drew a large entry. Results were as follows: —Miss B. Gardner mid A. N. Lamb, so. 10—04; Mrs. Collins and R. G.'Thomson, who defeated H. .W. Cooke. 1 up. The final of the handicap mixed foursomes was won by R. b. Wnaie and R. J. Hamilton, who beat Mrs, G. U. Taylor and F. A. Browne, 2 and 1. One hundred and twenty golfers and 20 caddies, all returned men, took part. It was a case 01 when a colonel is a caddy, as Mr. H. C. Ilemphill, who . held the rank of colonel during the war, acted as caddy for MrJustice Johnstone, who was a corporal, boisterous weather conditions were against good golf. Blare, who beat Miss E. Corner, 4 and 2. PUPUKE CLUB A Stableford bogey match played by members of the Pupuke Golf Club was von by H. A. Rutidrup with a score of 35. H. M. Ryder was runner-up with 29. , A 30 holes medal match was won by L. Hay, handicap 12, with a net score of 135. The next best scores were:—W. A. Richardson (14), 142; M. Campbell, 85, 10 —(JO. The annual boge.v competition for the Hauraki Cup resulted in a tie between Miss B. Mills and Miss M. Campbell. Miss Mills was successful in the play-off. The season's eclectic match - was won by Miss B.
