AUCKLAND GUN CLUB The Auckland Gun Clnb held a shoot at its ground at Papakura. Tho light conditiosn wore difficult and this was reflected in the Bcores. The principal events of the day, a 15-bird maitch for Mr. Nehoff's trophy, was won by the veteran C. E. Hodge with a score of 14. Following are details of the matches:— First Match.—Seven-bird eye-opener sweepstake: A. J. Hanigan, 15yds, A. Sommerville, llyds, and E. Honteith, 13yds, each shot the possible and divided the sweep. Second Match.—Ten-bird American shoot, all off 16yds: C. E. Hodge and L. Strain each shot the possiblo and divided first and second money, L. Bedford, with nine birds, was next Third Match.—Fifteen-bird handicap: C. E. Hodge. 17yds, with 14 birds, took Mr. Nehoff's trophy. L. Stain, 12yds, took second money, and E. J. Schofield, 15yds, L. Bedford, 14yds, R. H. Bartley, 13yds, tied for third place. Fourth Match. —Ten-bird American shoot, off 16yds: In this match C. E. Hodge, L. Bedford and A. J. Hanigan shot the possible. R. H. Bartley, E. Monteith and W. Turner each shot nine birds. Fifth Match.—Seven-bird gimcrack, back 2ydß a hit: R. H. Bartley, 11-23 yds, E. J. Schofield, 12-24 yds, and A. J. Hanigan. 12* 24yds, each shot the possible. Sixth Match. —Ten-bird, double rise: A. E. Robinson, 12yds, and A.
