TE PUKE CLUB'S OFFICERS [BY TELEGRAM —OWN COKItESFONDKNT ] TE PUKE, Sunday The sevonth annual mooting of tho Te Puko Swimming and Lifo-Saving Club was held in tho Borough Council's chambers, Mr. H. N. Freeman, president, presiding over | a fair attendance. The president's annual report, wns read and adopted and tho. balanco-shoot, showing a credit of over £6O. was also adopted. The election of officers resulted: —Patron. Mr. F. W.. Doidge, M.P.j president, Mr. EL N. Freeman; secretary. 4 Mr. N. Perkins: troasurer, Mr. D. T. Humphrey; conlinitteo, Misses Ryburn, J. Cuff, Messrs). F. Higginson, J. McKenzie, J. Saundors, J. Graham, W. 'Pilcher, A. Gordon, W. Nicholls, H. Valder; club captain, Mr. J. McKenzie; timekcopers, Messrs. Sweetman, Watson, Dawson. Tho appointment of judges and handi* cappers was loft to the committee. It was decided to muke a donation of £3O to the Borough Council for repairs and upkeep of the baths. . Provided tho baths are ready, It was decided to open them for the season on November 23.
