SHOW VISITOR'S DEATH
FORMER PLOUGH CHAMPION [from our own correspondent] HAMILTON, Friday The death occurred suddenly in u dwelling in Kitchener Street, Hamilton, this morning of Mr. Alexander Brown, aged 52, a ploughman, of Waimate, South Canterbury. Mr. Brown accompanied Mr. Andrew Grant, of Waimate, to the Royal Show. Mr. Brown appeared to be fairly well at 7 a.m., but two hours later he was found dead in bed. Mr. Brown was an expert ploughman, and held the North Island championship two years running. He is a married man, with an adult family.
