RENOVATING THE GARDEN FURNITURE

F' is quite an easy matter to improve the looks ot' your garden furniture. First of all, dust it thoroughly, making sure that 110 dirt is left in the crevices. Then scrub it all over with hot water and a good household soap. Use plenty of hot water on the sagging seats of the chairs and leave them to dry in the sun. This will tighten thorn up considerably. When the furniture is quite dry give it a coat of clear varnish. This is easy to apply if you use a small paint brush. It is as well to have an old toothbrush at hand, for penetrating the crevices.
