NUREMBERG THE CITY OF TOY-MAKING

-pECKNTiLY the world's attention has Jlv "b een focussed on the city of Nuremberg, where Hitler formulated a claim regarding the Sudetens. Many of us as children played with the toys manufactured in this city. It is Europe's oldest seat of toy manufacturing, and was called The City of Toy Makers during the Middle Ages. It still leads the world in the manufacture of tin soldiers, and by combining the products of five large factories they would be able in a day's time to turn out a toy army of half a million fully-equipped troops of horse, foot and artillery, with ammunition and supply trains complete. Let us hope that make-believe will satisfy reality.
