JOURNEY TO SWEDEN
"In Praise of Sweden," by Maxwell Fraser, has a most apt title, for this is more than a mere guide book, and vivid in its pictures of all that is lovely iu that country. It describes the holiday possibilities of each of the 23 provinces, so giving the uonld-be traveller a wide range of pleasing spots to choose from. Many of the lesser-known districts arc fully described, "and Lappland is viewed from the angle of the tourist. The actual description narrative is happily leavened by touches about the history, legends, Royalties, writers, artists, soldiers and scientists of the country, giving the book an appeal even for the sit-by-the-fire folk who cannot hope to journey to Sweden. "In Praise of Sweden." by Maxwell Fraser (Alethuen.)
