NEW ZEALAND HOUSE
ENLARGEMENT URGED The opinion that the time had come for New Zealand House in London to bo enlarged, or for more commodious premises to be acquired elsewhere, was expressed by Mr. G. H. Morrish, of Whangarei, who has returned to Now Zealand from a holiday in England. He said the activities of the High Commissioner's staff had grown so greatly that further useful expansion was being hampered by the lack of room. For instance, Australia House had a special section where specimens of Commonwealth products were sold to the British people. It resulted in considerable publicity for Australia and the activities of the New Zealand publicity director, Mr. H. T. B. Drew, wero so valuable that any opportunities to increase them should be encouraged. Members of the New Zealand Parliament and others who cavilled at extra expenditure on New Zealand House should go and see for themselves the work being done for the Dominion in London.
