OLD AGE PENSIONS

PAYMENT TO-MORROW STATEMENT BY MINISTER Payments of old-age pensions this month will bo made two days earlier than usual, according to an announcement mado yesterday by tho Minister of Pensions, tho Hon. W. E. Parry. Tho normal day for payments is the 23rd of the month, but, as this falls on Sunday, arrangements have been mado for old-age pensioners to receive their pensions to-morrow.

Family allowances will be payable on Tuesday, October 25, and war veterans' allowances on Monday, October 31.
