STUDY COURSE DEPOSITS [BY TELEGRAPH PRESS ASSOCIATION] WELLINGTON, Tuesday A verdict of-guilty on all counts was returned by the jury in the Supreme Court at Wellington to-day against Frederick Joseph Huddleston, a clerk, aged 31, whoso trial on six charges or fiuse pretences and one of attempted false pretences began yesterday. The prosecution alleged that accused advertised various openings with a company and then persuaded applicants to pay deposits on courses to Jit themselves for the posts offered on in assurance that they would he found employment with the company. The prisoner was remanded until tomorrow for sentence.
