AMERICAN LABOUR MARKET NEW YORK, Oct. 13 Women have glutted the United States labour market, according to Mr. John D. Biggars, an industrialist in Toledo, Ohio. The number of women who became available for employment between 1930 and November, 1937, was 2,740,000 more than was expected on the basis of past experience. Mr. Biggars, who has resigned from his directorship of the Federal Unemployment Census, lias suggested to President Itaoserelt that the matter bo investigated by tho Congress committee now investigating monopolies.
