WORKING ON BUILDING FATALITY IN WELLINGTON BELIEVED STRUCK BY LIFT [BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION] WELLINGTON, Wednesday Severe head injuries, which caused almost instant death, were suffered by a Harbour Board employee engaged on alterations on one of its buildings today. / The victim was: — Mr. T. Gillings, carpenter, of Ohiro Road. An outside lift was in use for hoisting concrete and other materials on the building. It is believpd Mr. Gillings was struck by the descending lift.
