JEWS IN ITALY
TEXT-BOOKS BANNED ROME, Oct. 5 The first official result of a census, subject to verification, numbers the Jews in Italy at 70,000. The Education Ministry has banned text-books the authors of which are Jews. Lists of names include those of professors whose books at present are used in the universities.
