TAURANGA REGATTA CLUB [by telegraph —OWN correspondent] TAURANGA, Thursday The report presented at the annual meeting of the Tanrangft Regatta Club disclosed that the past year had been very successful. There was a credit balance uf .CBS. Officers were elected as follows:—Patron, Mr. W. S. Karris; vice-patron, Mr. C. H. Burnett, 31.P.: president, Mr. J, E. Ward; vice-presidents, Messrs. I. F. Connor, G. G. Norris, A. Stewart,. H. E. Olding, S. L: Simons, D. Jury; auditor. Mr. L. Warde; secretary and treasurer. Mr. J. McGlone: general committee, Messrs. A. E.| Peppercorn, L. Warde, W. Padlie. L. Norris, -T. «. Ford, C. f*. Oliver, W. Griffiths,A. Griffiths, I>. V. Hanna, C. A. Crabbe, with power to add; executive committee, president, secretary and Messrs. J. G. Norris, T. F. Con».«, A. E. Peppercorn, 11. E. Ofding. It was decided to asj; tho Yacht and Power Boat Club and Rowing Club each to appoint two delegates to attend the meetings of the executive committee. The fixing i of the date of the annual regatta was left with the executive committee.
