She was dormy five at the 14tb. where Mrs. Alison lost her chance through placing her drive in the rough for a bad lio. Neither played tho hole well and a half in six gave Mrs. Deighton the match. The "winner followed sound wood and iron play with greao accuracy, on the greens, wfyero she putted boldly and confidently. On the -contrary, Mrs. Alison took three putts on six greens and was stymied on two others. She did not have the best of luck witb her putts on several occasions.
