ANNUAL tADIES' NIGHT fBY TELEGRAPH —OWN CORRESPONDENT] MATAMATA,' Monday The Matamata Orphans' Club wound up its season on Saturday night, when the annual ladies' night was held. There was an attendance of 200, Mr. W. C. Wood?, of Auckland, presiding. The programme was supplied mainly by a group of Auckland artists, including Mr. and Mrs. Sehvyri Woods, Miss Meryl Harvey (soprano}., Messrs. Stewart Harvey (baritone), Frank Poore (flautist), F. Burnett (ventriloquist), Blinkam (baritSne), Forshaw (humour). Neville Walker (violin) and Leu Wilson and Middleton (acrobats), items were also given by Messrs, ,J. Coulter (magic) and W. and J. Clague (instrumentalists). t
