STATE HOUSING
AUCKLAND LAND PURCHASES AREAS FOR 61 DWELLINGS [BY TELEGRAPH PRESS ASSOCIATION] WELLINGTON, Friday The Parliamentary Under-Secretary for Housing, Mr. J. A. Lee. announced to-day that further land for housing had been purchased in several towns. The areas included sections for one house in Riddell Road, eight in The Terrace and two in Long Drive, St. Heliers; two in Kitirawa Street, one in Koroha Avenue, five in Benson Road and 24 in Portland, Ingram, Spencer 'and Walter Streets, Remuera; three houses at the corner of Harlston and (jrleutui Roads, and two in Phyllis Street, Mount Albert; two in Queensway. one in tfernleigh Avenue and one in Kingston Avenue, Mount Roskill; three in Wainui Avenue, and six in Point Chevalier Road, Point Chevalier.
