Dr." and Mrs. Fxaser Darling and their son, who is ten, have begun life on the uninhabited island" of North Bona, in the Outer Hebrides. They are to spend six months there alone. Their next-door neighbour will be the lighthouse iiian at the Butt of Lewis, 50 miles away, and they hope to keep in touch with him by sending weekly All's Well signals by, wireless. Dr. Darling's purpose in visiting ftorth Bona is the s£udy t of the Atlantic seals which are found in large numbers on the desolate: shores. - y \u
