IMPULSIVE HEROINE
In Helena Grose's new novel, "Rehearsal for Marriage," the heroine in one incident is with her. future husband in nil aeroplane—he is an expert airman—when there is serious danger of a crash. He offers her the only parachute. She promptly refuses the sacrifice, and throws the parachute overboard.
