SYDNEY TEAM'S VISIT MATCH AGAINST RICHMOND GREAT ATTRACTION TO-DAY Fast and thrilling football is anticipated at Carhiw Park this afternoon when the Eastern Suburbs team, run-ner-up in the Sydney championship, will meet Richmond, winner of the Roopo Rooster knock-out competition of the Auckland Rugby League. This will be Eastern Suburbs final match and Richmond is expected to test the visitors fully in all-round strength. Eastern Suburbs has already defeated Marist, winner of the Auckland championship, and Manukau and has revealed some splendid form. Richmond can- be relied upon to play Eastern Suburbs at its own game and it will be interesting to wateli the team tactics of each side. The visitors have not yet met a back line whif.h has combined effectively, but the Richmond rearguard, with reasonable opportunities, is likely to cause them some anxiety. In spite of the forward strength of the Sydney team it will be opposed by a good all-round set in the Richmond players, who handle the ball well, are fast in the loose and capable in combination. A weakness in the teams the visitors have met has been in tackling, hut Richmond should prove stronger in this department. Whichever team wins to-day a great match should result.
