DEPORTATION WANTED
CASE OF HARRY BRIDGES (Received September '22, 5.5 p.m.) WASHINGTON, Sept. 21 The Democrat member for Jasper in the House of Representatives, Mr. Mai'tin Dies, announces that he will hold a hearing in a week's time on the question of deportation proceedings against Harry Bridges, the San l'rancisco Labour leader. The Secretary of Labour, Miss Frances Perkins, and the immigration authorities will be asked to explain their attitude on the matter.
