FILM ACTOR'S LAWSUIT
JACKIE COOGAN'S EARNINGS CHARGE AGAINST STEPFATHER (Received September 22, 5.5 p.m.) LOS ANGELES, Sept. 21 The film actor Jackie Coogan has sworn an affidavit charging that his stepfather, Mr. Arthur Bernstein, was a bookmaker and had been involved iu a " multitude of gambling transactions." The affidavit was made in connection with the effort made by Coogan's mother to obtain the release of 40.000 dollars' worth of securities from the receivership of Jackie Coogan Productions, Ineorporated.
