NEW ZEALANDER OFFICIATES [from our own correspondent] LONDON, August 2D The naming ceremony of H.M.S. Scott at. the Caledon Shipbuilding Yard was performed by Lady Skelton, formerly of New Zealand. This was the. third vessel she has christened. Lady Skelton is the first. New Zcalander to launch a Caledon ship. Iler husband, Engineer Vicc-Adiniral Sir Reginald Skelton, left Dundee .'i7 years ago after superintending the building of the Discovery. He sailed with Captain Scott to the Antarctic in that famous vessel as chief engineer.
