The win and place system of betting will be used. - Telegraphing last evening, the Hebalu's correspondent stated that the weather was line and the going in good order. CLIFFORD COLOURS TRUSTEES TO CARRY ON [by telegraph—OWN correspondent] CHRISTCHURCH, Wednesday The Stonyhurst stud and Chokeboro stable are to be carried on by tho trustees of the late Sir Charles Clifford on similar lines to those followed oy Sir George Clifford and Sir Charles. The team at Chokeboro will remain as at present and tho horses will race jn the name of tho estate of Sir Caarles Clifford. Horses will race at the Dunedin meeting next month and a strong team will go to Trentham. There are 18 horses in commission at \Jhokebore. At Stonyhurst the numbers comprise three stallions, 22 brood mares, one two-veur-old and nine yearlings.
