BALLOON BARRAGE
fyEW ZEALANDER'S POST ADJUTANT TO FIRST SQUADRON [from our own correspondent;] '' LONDON, Sept. 1 A N4w Zealander, Flight-Lieutenant D. W. Morrish. formerly of Whangarei, and now an officer in the Royal Air Force, is adjutant to the newly-formed No. 901 (County of London) (Balloon) Squadron, in the balloon barrage, organisation for Tille aerial defence of London.
He was in charge of the formation of this unit, which was the first balloon barrage squadron to be established, and is responsible for the training and administration of the 600 men who will eventually comprise the Bquadron. He is the only regular force officer in this body, the remaining officers holding territorial rank. Flight-Lieutenant Morrish has recently qualified as a flying instructor. t
