MAN'S BAG OF DYNAMITE iTHREAT-TO BLOW UP BUILDING (Received September 9. 5.5 p.m.) NEW YORK, Sept. 8 'A mild looking little man walked into a large bank in the middle of tho city when the afternoon crowd was at its height and patiently awaited his turn at the manager's desk. Then lie exhibited a large satchel and whispered: "I have got a bottle of nitroglycerine up my sleevo and enough dynamite in this bag to blow up the bank. If you do not get mo 30,000 dollars I will do it." The manager agreed and pretended =to go to the vault to obtain the money. Instead he telephoned tbo police. When detectives rushed in the man fainted and tho police took him to a mental hospital. In the bag the police found 34 sticks of dynamite, 46 percussion caps and a bottle of dark liquid which was not explosive.
