WALTER BUCHANAN LTD "Loaf Christening" COMPETITION f 20,000 NAMES SUGGESTED for our New Starch-Reduced Loaf! When we first appealed to the public to suggest a name for our new Starch Reduced Loaf, we had hoped to be able to announce the result of the Loaf Christening" Competition shortly after the closing date. But so many thousands of excellent names have been suggested that the Judges are faced with an enormous task in making a decision. Selecting a name for a "new arrival" is difficult enough at any time, but when there are more than twenty thousand names to choose from —well! Yes, over twenty thousand names have been suggested for our new Starch Reduced Loaf —all good names, too. Every suggestion is being given careful consideration —but it takes time —lots of time. Just as soon as a final choice has been made, however, the result of the "Loaf Christening" Competition will be announced in this newspaper. In the meantime we must appeal to all the Godparents who took part in the "Christening" to be patient with us. WALTER BUCHANAN LTD. Eden Terrace, Auckland.
