OBITUARY
MR. PERRY NELSON GROOME

The death has occurred of Mr. Perry Nelson Groornc, ono of tho host-known settlers in the Northern Wairoa district. Mr. Groonio started farminc nt Aoroa at the end of tho Great >Vnr and remained there until a few months ago, when ill-health compelled him to retire. Ho took an active part in district affairs and was a member of the Aoroa school committee and' secretary of tho Aratapu Cricket Club. Ho was also keenly interested in lodge affairs and at the time of his death was immediate Past Master of Lodge Hohson and District Doputy Grand of the 1.0.0. F. for the Northern Wairoa district. He is survived by his wife ami four children.
