ELDERLY MAN HURT

STRUCK BY MOTOR-CYCLE CONDITION REPORTED SERIOUS Head injuries and concussion were suffered by a retired builder, Mr. James Martin Logan, aged 71, single, of 2J5 Seeconibes Koad, Epsom, when he was knocked down by a motor-cycle in Great South Road, near Wellington Street, at about 7.30 o'clock last night. Tho accident happened when .Mr. Logan was crossing Great South Road just after alighting from a tram. Ho whs removed to the Auckland Hospital in a St. John ambulance. His condition is serious.

The rider of the motor-cycle, Mr. Noel Embliug, of Mangerc East, was not injured, nor was tho cycle damaged.
