PIRATE SHIP CARNIVAL

Ftl'ective rural decorations of (lags arranged round the walls in sets of three, and shaded lights from the ship's lanterns, made an appropriate setting at the Pirate Ship Cabaret at Milford oil Saturday night. The usual old-time weekly carnival dance was held, and included in the programme was the popular Monte Carlo. A repertoire of many well-known melodies was played by the cabaret orchestra of six instruments, and there wjro generous responses to demands for encores. Many dancers were present, a large number of whom had taken advantage of the excellent transport arrangements available for town visitors.
